Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree). Works within defined processes to ensure that graphic projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the user's satisfaction.Assists in coordination of some graphic production scheduling.Responsible for delivering materials at various campus locations.Fills out work order requests forms, answers questions about services, and solves print-related problems.Provides customer support with print and production requests both for walk-ins and over the phone answers the phones and takes messages.Frames artwork and photos for orders requested.Assists with inventory, supply management, and maintenance and service of all equipment.Operates book binding equipment and finishing tools.Provides printing and production services to include digital laser and large format printing, photocopying, and assembly of manuals, publications, theses, course packs, books, letterhead, envelopes, brochures, fliers, and posters.This will involve operating various digital printers and large format printers, as well as finishing and bindery equipment. The focus of the Production Assistant will be to work with the Graphic Arts team to execute a wide range of print projects including books, posters, brochures, copies, and signage. It is important that all staff members serve one another in the spirit of trust, respect, openness, and cooperation.
